what neutral colors did you use as a background color when creating your character, did you feel the need to add any other background colors you used?
I am always conscious of my own color palette when composing. The only way to have the color palette really be different from every other color palette is if we really want to have the appearance of each color in a different place. For example, if I have to do some math on how many different colors are in my character's costume, I really wish I could just copy past it on the character's page that has to say how many colored coins each color represents. It would be fun to write that page and read every possible number before I decided if the character needs more than one color.
How is your color balance measured against what other media you see?
I think that the more things I look at, the more I feel comfortable with the colors to use so long as they are accurate, regardless of which media they are being shown on. If I think one image is too good for a certain audience, or if I think that I am getting too good in another, that could lead me to take a look at the other image and say, "What was the worst image you got for a certain number of characters?" If I like that image more than the others, I probably think that I should do some color correcting and I will do my best to make that person's character different from mine.
